Hello, world

I’ve wanted a place of my own on the web for a while. Not a profile on someone else’s platform, not a feed that disappears in a day — a home I own, on my own domain, where the writing is the canonical version and nobody can change the rules on me. This is that place.

What I’ll write about

Engineering, startups, and building with AI. Mostly the unglamorous middle: the tradeoffs you only discover after shipping, the decisions that looked obvious in hindsight and weren’t, the difference between “works in the demo” and “works.” First principles where I can, working code where it matters, and honest accounting where I got it wrong.

How this works

Posts go up here first. I’ll syndicate some of them to a newsletter and to social, but the version on this site is the source of truth — link to it, quote it, and it’ll still be here. If you want to follow along, the RSS feed is the most durable way, and there’s an email list if you prefer your reading delivered.

No fixed schedule. I’d rather publish something worth your time occasionally than fill a calendar. Thanks for being here at the start.
